In 1932, during the election cycle of Hitler challenging Hinderberg, a brave Catholic priest wrote an open letter to Adolf Hitler. (The priest was later forced to flee Germany, and the journalist that published the letter was later beaten to death in Dachau.)

In his prayer at the inauguration ceremony (about an hour ago, as I type this), Rick Warren prayed that Obama would "lead with generosity". Really. Is that the purpose of government? Can someone show that to me in the Constitution?
And, what would happen if the government suddenly turns off the faucet?
Near the beginning of his inaugural speech, Obama lamented government's "collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a New Age." So... does he think THAT is the purpose of government??!

When hearing and seeing Rick Warren and other "preachers" praising politicians, I'm reminded of the words of Ezekiel, in Ezekiel 22:25-28:

When you have preachers joining the CFR to gain a bigger audience for their message, and then they cozy up to liberal politicians for the sake of unity, is it any wonder that our country is in the shape that it's in?
